IBC opened its fifth container freight station (CFS) in Dallas, Texas. With the addition of the new station, IBC now operates five CFS’s with others located in Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, and New York.

Why are we opening another cfs?

The key for any e-commerce business owner is to get their parcels to a port of entry that’s closest to the delivery zip code.

By adding the fifth CFS facility in the IBC network, our customers have strategic entry ports into the U.S, allowing them to have their parcels injected into various last mile providers closest to the ultimate delivery address. As such, they benefit from the lowest cost for last mile delivery since they’re able to reduce the number of zones a parcel will travel through.

In addition to saving our customers money, the Dallas CFS will improve transit times. Simply, send your parcels to the IBC clearance facility closest to your destination and distribute from there, saving time and money.
